A private non-profit in Thousand Oaks that was established in 1975 to support seniors and caregivers. They offer services designed to promote independence and social connection. Senior Concerns helps families navigate the complexities of aging, offering an Adult Day Center for seniors with cognitive or physical impairments, Meals on Wheels, and pro bono legal/financial advocacy.

 A city-operated facility in the heart of Thousand Oaks, the Goebel Adult Commjnity Center is a sprawling 21,000-square-foot facility dedicated to keeping local seniors active and socially engaged. It serves as a neighborhood hub where visitors can enjoy everything from organized fitness and educational classes to informal daily activities like billiards and card games. The center also provides essential community services, including a low-cost lunch program, a computer lab, and various interest-based social clubs.

The Senior Nutrition Program (SNP) provides nutritious congregate and home-delivered meals to Ventura County seniors and individuals with disabilities, regardless of income. While voluntary contributions are welcomed, no eligible person aged 60 or older is denied a meal due to an inability to pay. These services are vital for maintaining the health, dignity, and independence of our local Thousand Oaks community.

A government division serving residents aged 60+ and their caregivers. The agency provides a wide range of essential support services to help seniors maintain their independence at home, including home-delivered meals, respite care, and transportation vouchers, among other classes and support programs.

This Senior Center provides a welcoming space for adults 50+ to stay active, social, and engaged through free weekly and monthly activities. Located in Camarillo and open to all, the center offers a variety of amenities including games, fitness equipment, and comfortable gathering areas. Daily drop-in activities such as yoga, art, walking groups, and card games cater to a range of interests. It serves as a vibrant hub for connection, wellness, and community involvement.

This program provides free dental, vision, and mental health care to low-income seniors aged 62 and older. It aims to fill critical gaps in Medicare coverage to improve the overall quality of life for vulnerable elderly residents.
